Wood-Kare Shares Wood Finishing Knowledge with UPM Students

Wood-Kare (M) Sdn. Bhd. was pleased to have the opportunity to share our wood finishing knowledge and industry experience with students at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

From Wood to the Right Finishing

During the sharing session, the Wood-Kare team introduced students to the importance of proper wood finishing and how different products can be used to enhance and protect timber.

Students were introduced to topics including:

• Understanding different wood finishing methods

• How wood stain enhances the natural colour and grain of timber

• The purpose of wood coating and surface protection

• Choosing suitable wood care products for different applications

• Basic preparation and application techniques

• Practical knowledge from real-world wood finishing applications

Discovering WoodKare Wood Stain & Wood Coating

The session also gave students an opportunity to learn more about WoodKare wood stain and wood coating solutions.

From colouring timber with wood stain to applying protective wood coating, students were able to better understand how the right finishing system can affect the appearance, durability and performance of a finished wood product.

As a wood stain Malaysia brand, WoodKare is proud to share the knowledge and experience we have developed through more than three decades in the wood finishing industry.

Sharing Knowledge with the Next Generation

For Wood-Kare, this session was not only about introducing products. It was about connecting industry experience with education.

We hope our sharing can give students a better understanding of wood finishing and inspire them to explore new possibilities in timber, furniture, design, architecture and sustainable wood applications.
