Sand
and clean wood surface
Surface should be free of finish wax or contaminates. Sand surface
with 280 grit sandpaper. Always sand in the direction of the grain
so as not to damage the wood surface. |

Remove
excess DIY “Gelled” Stain
Wipe off excess immediately with dry cloth. Wipe from one end to
another end in the direction of the wood grain to obtain a smooth
and evenly distributed finish. |

Fill
wood joints, crack and holes
Choose similar or nearest wood putty colour. Apply with putty knife
or scraper. Press firmly into place. Sand over affected area. |

Apply
sanding sealer
Brush or spray two coats of WOOD-KARE CRYSTAL ACRYLIC LACQUER (SAN-DING
SEALER). Sand between coats with 320 grit sandpaper. |

Rub
stain and wipe clean
Rub DIY “Gelled” Stain with lint free cloth or sponge.
Spread as far as possible to fill in the wood pores evenly. If stain
is too thick, dilute with mineral spirit or turpentine liquid. One
coat will be sufficient. |

Apply
with brush or spray two coats WOOD-KARE CRYSTAL ACRYLIC LACQUER
Apply by using a brush or spray two coats of WOOD-KARE CRYSTAL ACRYLIC
LACQUER (SOLVENT BASED) or use WOOD-KARE DIAMOND POLY KOTE (Refer
to instruction). Sand between coats with 320 grit sandpaper. |
